Kraftsy is India's first venture dedicated to crafting sustainable wooden toys that blend tradition, innovation and purpose. At Kraftsy, we believe joyful childhoods nurture the leaders, dreamers and change-makers of tomorrow.
Our journey began with a vision to re-imagine childhood through toys that nurture both the child and the planet. We work exclusively with reclaimed wood, giving it a second life as safe, non-toxic and durable playthings that encourage screen-free, curiosity-driven learning. Each design is thoughtfully created to support holistic child development from improving focus and emotional regulation to strengthening problem-solving skills and social connections. Our toys also address modern challenges such as ADHD tendencies, sensory processing issues and the need for social-emotional learning. Every toy is designed and tested with a team of designers, psychologists, and educators to ensure it is developmentally enriching and child-safe.
Beyond creating toys, Kraftsy is a movement for empowerment. We collaborate with rural women artisans, providing them with sustainable livelihoods and opportunities for skill development. Every toy that is crafted carries not just care, but the hope of building brighter futures.

From Our Founder
Hello! I’m Karthikaa from the Mango City, Salem also known as the timber hub of Tamil Nadu.
Growing up, I often saw heaps of quality timber left unused or reduced to firewood, while at the same time, children around me were spending more hours glued to screens. Both these realities bothered me deeply. One was a story of waste, and the other, a story of lost play.
Guided by a deep passion for entrepreneurship and shaped by over four years of professional experience in children-focused startups, I set out to transform these concerns into an opportunity for change. This vision gave life to Kraftsy a venture dedicated to reimagining play. Through reclaimed wood, we craft sustainable toys, sensory art kits, and ancient Indian games that nurture creativity, build focus, and strengthen family bonds.
At the heart of Kraftsy is also a social mission: empowering rural women, creating livelihoods and dignity of work while preserving India’s rich traditions of play.
My vision is to make happy childhood a universal experience and take our Indian heritage to the global world.
